About Jenny
An art exhibition by some of Jenny's students on Boudicca and one of her classes at the Cumberland Pencil Museum
As an artist, my first love is wildlife. I try to capture what inspires me, whether it be a kingfisher zipping down the river, a lazy-looking cheetah seen on safari or cute New Forest donkeys, see Gallery pages for more examples of my work. My Cumberland Pencil Museum demonstrations will be on 19-20 June 2012 and my Inktense workshop is on Thursday 21 June, see www.pencilmuseum.co.uk. Some of my step by step demos are now on the Derwent website www.pencils.co.uk. I enjoy running art classes aboard cruise ships, my next scheduled one being on Fred Olsen's Balmoral in July 2012, though others are sometimes booked for me at short notice! I have also demonstrated at art fairs and for the National Trust and am a Leisure Painter contributor, see www.painters-online.co.uk. Since leaving the academic world of art and design history, I have exhibited paintings at many venues in Hampshire and am an active member of Romsey Art Group and the UK Coloured Pencil Society.
